Funding Impact
- The objectives for clinical simulations are to improve the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of our care teams when treating patients.
- Simulations are reliable, reproducible activities that are done in a safe learning environment that prepares staff for real life situations.
- The simulation education events we practice are considered low frequency, high risk situations.
- Regular simulation training offered throughout the year includes:
- Obstetric hemorrhage
- Obstetric hypertension
- Obstetric should dystocia
- Code blue – patient is experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency. Usually, this means cardiac arrest (when the heart stops) or respiratory arrest (when breathing stops).
- Stroke
